Hi, I’m Lee, the artist behind the artworks.
I am naturally drawn to the subtle moments that can often go unnoticed: the shifting light and shadows, the silence hiding amidst all the noise, the beauty waiting to be discovered beneath the surface, and the serenity found when you gratefully stumble into the present moment and notice just how magical life is when you simply breathe it in.
My work seeks to explore these moments and to hold space for the depth, reflection and connection that comes from it.
When my life felt overwhelming or too big for me to navigate with a sense of ease, I turned to art to steady myself. It was during one of those challenging, big life times that I discovered painting with an acrylic wash on raw canvas, learning to turn the natural white into a softened abstract landscape. These paintings became a safe and soft place for me to land. Now it’s my turn to give back by sharing these paintings.
